ABOUT: I started On The Run Sound in 2001 in the Nashville, TN area as a one-man outfit doing small gigs myself or partnering with other engineers for larger shows and events. I have engineered live events such as KOOL Radio's Caravan Of Stars in Jackson, TN, the Wilson County Fair (2001-2009), Pride Ball, Nashville Symphony Pre-Show at Cumberland College, Barefoot Farmer's Solstice Festival, Badgers's Pig Party in Hartsville, TN, Lebanon High School Honors Nights and Graduations. I have been part of system inspections, installations, and maintanence for several institutions including Lebanon High School's auditorium dual-system install, churches that include Cedar Grove Baptist Church and Potter House in Lebanon, Tennessee. I did the complete audio wiring for Fortune Sound Studio in Lebanon, Tennessee where I aslo engineered several recording projects. I spent several years as one of the engineers at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville as well as worked a couple of Tin Pan South seasons at The Station Inn also in Nashville, TN. I have engineered recording projects at Forturne Sound in Lebanon, TN and Lock 6 Studio in Hartsville, TN as well as several on-site projects. I currently live in Jackson, Tennessee and operate as recording musician. My focus is on continuing to create music videos. Check out the MULTI-MEDIA page for a selection of videos.
CURRENT NEWS: New Music Video for Christmas In July - 2025! This year the Yuletide Minstrels will be performing for a Christmas In July show at Brookdale Senior Living. Our third time playing such an event, first here in Tennessee. To mark the occassion, we put together a music video to The Little Drummer Boy. For the first time it features Randy on vocals with Rita Mac creating the choir-like backing vocals. Go to MULTI-MEDIA for production notes.
Click to see the video on YouTube. Reunited! I caught up with my old engineering partner, David Bliss, who now runs 7 stages at the Wilson County/Tennessee State Fair. He took it over after our fearless leader, Mikey Priest, passed away after I moved back to California. Now that I have moved back to Tennessee, there's a good chance you will see us partnering back up here in the near future!
Relocated to Jackson, Tennessee! I left middle Tennessee back in 2010. In November 2022 I left California and moved to Jackson, Tennessee.
