CURRENT RECORDING GEAR: I mainly record onto a Tascam DP-24SD recorder and transfer the tracks into Cubase Elements 14 for mixing and mastering. I can record directly to Cubase thru a Focusrite 4i4 interface. I also have a Zoom R16 recorder that I also upload tracks to Cubase. I have iZotope Ozone as a plug-in or a stand alone application for mastering. For other processing and editing I use Sound Forge. I have a collection of microphones to choose from including several different studio condensers, Shure SM57's and 58's, a couple of pairs of stick condensers, drum mics, a Shure wireless system for live performances, other various handhelds and specialty micropohones. STUDIO RECORDINGS: From 2001 through 2010 while in middle Tennessee, I engineered at a couple of different studios.

recording in Hartsville, TN, and Frontier Music's 16-track studio's ADAT tape system.
Heart & Soul Acoustic - 2023 
Fleetwood Mac cover of "Songbird" on YouTube "Even Now" by Michelle Chambers Stahle Back in 2007 I worked with Michelle in producing a couple of her songs. Here is one she wrote, sang, and played acoustic guitar on. We recorded this at Fortune Sound in Lebanon, TN. On guitars and bass is Rusty Sweeton and on drums is Scooter Burton.

Ticket To Ride Demo Recording In August of 2017, I created an 8-song snippet demo for Ticket To Ride , an acoustic/electric Beatles cover band, for their promotional package. At the time they were strickly a 3-piece acoustic act. Since then they have become a full-blown Beatles tribue act performing in the Sacramento, California area. 8-Song Snippet Demo REMOTE RECORDINGS: In September of 2019 I set up a recording studio in a paint warehouse to record a 3 song demo for a rock band. I set up my full rig. We tracked the band doing the basic tracks, overdubbed the lead guitar parts, then the vocals. I mixed and mastered the songs back at my home studio. Below is a link to one of those songs. 
L.O.W. Rattle Bluebird Bells Series 2007-2009 
The Bluebird Bells' were a host of fellow employees at the Bluebird Cafe' in Nashville, TN whom I wrangled up to produce three Christmas CD's projects: Home For The Holidays, Painted Candy Canes, and Ringing For Peace. The first two were for fun and not for public release. Ringing For Peace was commerically produced and released in 2009. There were supporting shows in 2008 and 2009 at the Bluebird Cafe' showcasing the artists and songs from the projects which turned out GREAT! There were some great versions of classic holiday tunes as well as the inclusion of original songs written by our creative staff. "Ringing For Peace", is only available direct through me or The Bluebird Cafe' in Nashville, Tennessee while they last. For each CD sold we make a donation to The Wounded Warrior Project to help soldiers injured in battle. LIVE RECORDINGS: I enjoy doing live recordings for demo purposes or school recitals. In the past I have done many projects for the Lebanon Special School District, Lebanon High School, and Trousdale County Schools. I have taken my set-up into a band's rehearsal room and to local clubs. |
